Does windows phone require Rooting ?

Hey guys, I have used many Android Phones & yes we root them for extra features.

But what about windows phone ? Do they also need to rooted for complete usage ? Please discuss if anyone have any idea about it.

Windows does not require rooting but it needs to be jailbreaked like IOS

With a jailbroken device, you can install apps and tweaks that aren't authorized by Apple / Windows, but you also remove the tough security protections that Apple has built into iOS.

In windows phone, It is called developer unlock & it is not that hard & technical.
