Install ADB drivers for your phone.. or search for universal adb drivers.. install it.. reboot pc..

connect phone to pc using a good datacable.. go to settings>about.. tap build number till it says you are a developer.. then go to settings>developer options> turn on usb debugging.. now try on pc again..

it will show a prompt on phone to accept usb adb connection.. click allow..

    adb would be working now.
