Evdo Is A CDMA Modem Supporting Speed Upto 3.1 Mbps.
It Will Cost You Rs 1199/-
and You Have To Buy a Separate BSNL CDMA Sim which will Cost You Additional Rs 40
NOTE:Modem has no inbuild simcard installed.

It all depends on network strength Bro...
I used it for 1 month with 50% network reception. It gives around 150kBps constant speed and if in your area the network reception is good than you will surely get 250+kBps
NOTE: You can ask for a demo from BSNL Office to check the speed at your place

In my case they have first given me the demo at my place so that i cant complain afterwards for speed and network problems.
As I was satisfied with the speed, they have given me the Evdo Modem.
You should go to the BSNL Office and talk to seniors or go to the data card department.

They have not updated the EVDO Section for years bro. They are still stuck at 2.4 mbps at that link.
Nowadays BSNL provides PRITHVI MODEM with 3.1 mbps speed and it requires you to separately purchase a BSNL CDMA sim to use It.
