    Try this :-
    • Open RUN dialogue box using Windows + R button. Type Regedit and press ENTER. It will open the Registry Editor.
    • Now, Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control.
    • Now, right click on Control key and select New>>Key option. Name the new key as StorageDevicePolicies. If it already exists, then click on it
    • Now, come to the right pane of StorageDevicePolicies, right click here and select New>>DWORD Value. Name the new DWORD Value as WriteProtect. If the DWORD Value already exists then, double-click on it. Set the Value Data from 1 to 0. Click on OK button.
    • Close the Registry Editor and re-plug your USB or SD Card.
    • and try to Format. :troll5:

sbhi memories me ek switch hota h....jo kisi tarah k data curroption hone pr on ho jata h...jisse memory read only bn jati h...taki jo saved data h vo safe rhe or memory curruption ki stage se bach jaye....ab tumhari memory bhi usi mode me chli gyi h...isse niklne k sirf ek rasta h vo h reflash your firmware...and that is not possible without company software....may your memory card rest in peace

This issue is very common with Strontium cards. As others have pointed out, solution lies in seeking replacement if under warranty or getting a new one.

you don't need too much knowledge about linux....just create a bootable live cd or usb drive of ubuntu(linux) and live boot it....then just open the gparted in the linux....you will be able to follow on screen. everything is GUI based in ubuntu setups
