Hide any file or folder on android device by adding a . to the name.
For eg,
If you have folder named " my pics "
Then rename it
" .my pics "
Your file manager should have option to see hidden files and folders, otherwise you will not be able to see your hidden files/folders
I am using zarchiver app which unzips rar/zip files and also serves as file manager
Benefit of this process is that ,
It helps to hide folders
For eg,
If you don't want to show your camera pics to anyone, then simply rename that folder by adding . to its front/prefix.
Now,
If someone opens gallery, then he/she will not be able to see those pics
It also works with music player
Many music player don't detect hidden files, therefore you can hide particular folder of music
Same rules apply for video players.
