how to remove "write protection on pen drive"?
plz help me .
To remove write protection:
Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter. This will open the registry editor.
Navigate to the following path:
Double click the key WriteProtect in the right pane and set the value to 0
In the Data Value Box, press OK
Exit Registry, restart your computer and then re-connect your USB pen drive to your computer.
Already tried . give another method plz.
It would be better if you provide some details like usb model, & whats the error in above method
When i try to format usb it saying "write protected" .

This way you can disable write protection with a click on a file, and enable it again when you have copied files to the USB device.
not working bro.
there is no such option in my registry editor like StorageDevicePolicies
i have 16GB pen drive of sandisk
plz help me bro..
No solution for this for years and years..only devices with switch that enables and disables the write protection can only be used...no egistry edits or other software will perform magics...
suggestion : get a new drive..
