Xiaomi is reportedly working on the successor of the last year's Redmi Pro, which will possibly be called - Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. The device is expected to boast a similar optics set up like its predecessor and hence is expected to come with dual cameras set up. On Friday, Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 was accidentally listed on the company's official website - Mi.com, however, was pulled down soon after. The listing was first spotted by GizmoChina.

Although the listing of the upcoming Redmi Pro 2 is not available at the moment, but it does tip the imminent launch of the handset very soon. The accident listing revealed the complete specs and pricing details of the device. Rumours surfacing the web also reveal that Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will be initially launched in China and will go on sale soon after the official announcement.
Few days after the China launch, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is also expected to hit other markets, which obviously includes India. That being said, India is one of the key markets for Xiaomi. As per the recently released IDC report stated that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the highest shipped phone in India in Q1 of this year. The company also opened its first Mi Home in India, which is located in the country's IT hub - Bengaluru.

Coming back to the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, as far as the leaked listing is considered, the device will sport 5.5-inch OLED display. Further, it will be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor, and run on Android Nougat operating system. On the optics front, Redmi Pro 2 will come packed with a 16-megapixel primary camera set up. While on the front, the device is expected to sport 13-megapixel selfie snapper.
Furthermore, Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will be backed by a decent enough 4100 mAh battery. No information on the RAM and storage that the device will boast. On the pricing front, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is expected to be priced at CNY 1,199, which will be roughly around Rs 11,500. Well, if the Redmi Pro 2 will really launch at this price, this device will definitely receive an overwhelming response in India, if it comes to the country. Out of the many, one key reason why Xiaomi is gaining wide popularity in India is because of the affordable price tag. Similar was the case with the success of the Redmi Note 4, Redmi 3S and the rest.
