how to boot from usb in hp laptop

Hi ,
I wanted to upgrade to windows 10 inssder preview ,therefore I downloaded iso file from Microsoft website
And also created bootable usb by using rufus
then I tried to enter boot options
By using
Shift+restart
After that when I tried to use usb device
Everytime it failed or brought to boot menu , but my pc was not able to boot through usb.
Please help

Hp pavilion 15
Windows 8.1, 4gb ram

try tapping ESC key when you hit the turn ON button and you will get options to select to boot device

There is boot menu ,but I cannot find bootable usb anywhere to install
If you know the solution then please help

Try different software to make bootable usb. Unetbootin might work. Just give it a try & let me know

Try Make USB bootable with DAEMON Tools Ultra.Once you Prepare Your USB than shut down your system completely now hit the start button and press F12 you will see the system BIOS their you go in the BOOT option and set the sequence of device that you need to be booted.there are several option available.this will fix your problem..Any further help text me Back.
Edit:In next start press F2 to choose among the device to boot.

I tried the easiest method by myself
It worked
Steps -
1) download iso file for windows 10
2 ) create a bootable usb drive/pen drive
3) after creation of bootable usb drive open the drive contents and double click on setup
4) follow on screen instructions and let installation complete automatically .
