The process mentioned over that link posted by VDG works I have tried.
Speed was increased only when there is better signal reception. If there is weak band 2300hz signal in your area then I would recommend not to lock to that band

Remember band 40 coverage is in very low in most areas

hi there,
here i am going to give the way to change to LTE BAND 40 in Yureka.

I am not responsible if anything happens to your mobile

I googled all this and found some useful and combined them and made this process.

Things u need
-> Ur phone bootloader must be UNLOCKED
-> rooted
-> proper drivers installed in ur PC
->USB debugging ON in developer options

Step 1
download LTE unlock files from here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B--e9LBj22IPeGlNY0tpVnNqQkk/view

Step 2
Extract the zip file and install QPST and QXDM.

Step 3
now open adb folder and press SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK and select open command window here

Step 4
connect your phone to PC

Step 5
open command window and type the following commands one by one
Give root access in your phone and some connection pop ups will also appear in phone click OK to all and give root access
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb

Step 6

now download this file and extract it
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2FV5-Ceq50eVklyRFpxNWwzblU/edit

Step 7
Now open device manager. U will find other devices and expand it. u will find ur device.
then right click on it and select update driver and select browse from my computer, let me pick from a list of drivers from my computer and select show all drivers and click on have disk and browse to extractedOPO SPECIFIC folder and open opo diagnostic driverfolder and select the relevant version for your PC and open that and select .inf file and click open
accept any warnings that may pop up and install the driver

Step 8

Now open device manager and under modem u will find HTC USB modem, right click on that and select properties and go to modem tab and you will find port number on the top left corner as COM<number>. write down that port number

Step 9
Now open QPST configuration and goto port tab and select add new port.
In there u will see port and port label.
at the port field type the port u wrote down previously
and give port label as u want and press Ok.
dont close this application, minimize it

Step 10
Now open QXDM professional and goto options tab and select communications and under the target port u will see the port that which u wrote down previously select that and press Ok
Now,under view tab select NV browser and you will see category filter under that select LTE
Now,Select first one LTE_BC_CONFIG. After selecting that u will see two values under the fields. select first one and click read
there u will see the number under Input.. note down that (IMPORTANT)
now double click the number under input and change it to 549755813888, it is the value of band 40
and click right. that's it disconnect ur phone and Reboot it.
Enjoy the 4G speed in Band 40 in your ZEUS of Phones

If u want to change to normal band then follow all the steps and change the value to the previous one that you have backed up in step 10
You can use this app for LTE BAND values..
