Regarding program installation in lapy.

My friend is working in Snapdeal as sql programmer. They have provided a laptop to him.
But the problem is that he is unable to install any new program (as they restricted)
Is their any way to install program?

I think they have given a limited user access on operating system.
Which OS is working on lappy ?
If windows then create a new admin account or if already created then just hack the admin account
