Latest Android OS: Android 4.4 KitKat

Google`s Newest Addition in the Android Platform, The Android 4.4 Kit Kat, has been officially announced on 3rd September. However, it hasn`t been declared as to when the software would be available as an update. It is said that it will debut with the Nexus 5, but there is no confirmation to that. Hope this Android comes up with new features that would really be useful and contain as less bugs as possible.

They have not supplied with any specs yet. But they have now declared it to release on October 14th along with the Nexus 5.

But it is certain that with Android 4.4, they have lowered the system requirements, possibly to 512MB RAM so now phones with even 512MB RAM would be able to run this. Expect more news about the features within sometime, but as of now, Google has declined to disclose much about this version of Android.
