One more method just call customer.care and ask them to activate 3G service, if they tells u don't have any data connection tell them I want to use form main balance. % working.
In Airtel using 2G mode data from main balance is costly as compared to 3G signal.

first deactivate 3g and then try to activate from old apk. it is not working in 4g sim

this coming on activating 0 rental..and cc also tried 4-5 times...message comes in 30 min plan will be activated and cc also confirmed within 30 min u will get 3g signal but not getting...

old 3g app loading screen par hi stop ho jata hai or customer care bhi 3g active karnai ko bol deta hai lakin hota nahi hai
