How To Send money with Gmail

  1. Open Gmail Or Gmail App
  2. Sign Up or Sign in with Gmail account.
  3. The Click the Compose button.
  4. Enter the email address of the person you want to send money to.
  5. Add a subject and message text (optional).
  6. Click the $ icon (£ for UK users).
  7. Enter the amount you want to send and choose a payment method or add a new one.
  8. Click Review.
  9. Click Attach.
  10. Check over your message one more time and click Send.
Receive an email with money attached

The first time you receive money through Gmail, you’ll need to add a debit card to transfer the money to Users. Whenever someone sends you money through Gmail, it will automatically transfer to that card.

To claim money sent to you through Gmail the first time:

  1. Open Gmail or Gmail App.
  2. Open the message with attached money.
  3. Click Claim money. As Mentioned in the below Gif Image.

I am not sure that this option is functioning in every country. It might be an option currently only for US and UK users. Although it is interesting option, I am not sure how do you actually upload your money to your account?

I think that this is great option to have. Indeed, it is not available in every country. However, latest news is that few large companies are currently developing own crypto currencies in order to make payments easier for their customers. Google might consider also this option

Honestly it's the first time I am hearing something like that that you really can send money to some people out there and everyone will be happy here no matter what. I have never used gmail for such purposes and very happy that it have that ability.
