Its easy as 1,2,3 for Developers to give OTA Updates to their Users now...
In a few simple steps,Will Guide you for that:
[HIDE=30][/HIDE]
[HIDE=30]
1) Go to OTA Updater Site and register there..
2)Download app for OTA Updater from their site...MOD as per your needs(Optional)
3)Now put that OTA_Updater.apk in "System/app" in your ROM..
4)Add these lines to your Build.prop...
otaupdater.otaid=write your OTA ID here

otaupdater.otaver=Write your ROM verison here
otaupdater.otatime=Write Time and date like "20120820-1516"
where 2012= Year,08=Month,20=Date.....and 15=Hour,16=Minutes
5) Its almost over...
6)When you want to give Update...Make a Zip CWM flashable file..
7)Upload it to some hosting site...Get a direct link...
8)Now go back to OTA Site and add rom there...
9)Set ROM Details,LINK and MD5 Hash....
10)Everythings up,youll see your OTA Updates prompting on your ROM :dance2:

Boncer....yr not understand ny thing...
dont worry u won't ;)
btw OTA means Over the Air, this is the first thing u must know of this thread.
Next, devices like nexus 4 get the OTA updates by google, so they automatically gets updated instead of manually downloading and applying the update.
Lastly, this stuff is for devs only so that they can provide OTA update to their rom users, none of ur and mine business.
