BlackBerry has launched the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone in the Indian market.
The device is the first one from the company’s stable to feature a BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. Priced at Rs 44,990, the device supports 2G, 3G and 4G technologies and packs in an AMOLED screen with 16 million colours, 16 GB of storage memory, 2 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera.
The Q10 also offers customers a host of applications, including the BlackBerry Hub, the BlackBerry Balance, the BlackBerry® Messenger and the BlackBerry Remember.
Commenting on the launch, Sunil Lalvani, managing director, India, BlackBerry said, “We are thrilled to launch the first QWERTY BlackBerry 10 smartphone with our carrier and retail partners across India. The BlackBerry Q10 smartphone gives customers the assurance of typing on a classic BlackBerry keyboard, which combines with BlackBerry 10 to offer them a powerful and unique mobile computing experience.”
