Computer hanging problem

i recently got replaced the hard drive of my laptop.And installed windows 8.
the system hangs/freezes every 4-5 minutes showing 99-100% disk usage.previously also it had windows 8 installed but no such problem was there.
I dont know what is causing this problem,if anyone has some idea please help me.

Is windows 8 is better than windows 7
I m using 7 works great..
Give me windows 8 iso link and serial keys..

jab full hota hai toh freeze ho jaata hai tab ss lena bahut muskil hai

abhi avast installed hai lekin isse pahle avg install tha tab bhi same problem thi :confused:

anyways i am now unistalling avast.

when you view the instance of svchost.exe in Task Manager (the one that is using all the memory) right click on it and select "Open File Location" and tell me what it states in the top task bar of the window that will then open.

also beware if this process is getting high on disk it may also use your internet connection
keep an eye on data used
it will deduct huge data i doubt
this probe is mainly caused in new pc's
or newly installed windows

data use is just normal.
but one thing i noticed that any antivirus that i had (first avg then avast and now windows defender)remains turned off although i try to turn it on many times.. is this the work of a virus??

its getting impossible to work on this laptop because of this problem i think formatting is the only option left :cry:

you have a virus triggerig svhost services
but i have the solution
download malware bytes
go to safe mode and run it
if a person gets sick doctors not kill them they cure them so cure your problem not format

find the trace of all those files
also delete all viruses
restart your laptop * restart not shutdown
after that if the problem exists
then go to resource monitor
then suspend the process there which is causing you problem
