help with playing videos

hello everyone am facing a serious issue with my laptop for the past few month am not able to play videos very well in my laptop am fed up with almost all the players like vlc,km player etc... so kind help me, my problem is videos are freezing while playing mostly in vlc and some times after i close the player it shows the application not responding.

my laptop config is i5 processor with 4gb ram and also i have 1 gb graphic card and drivers are uptodate so kindly anyone please help me to rectify my problem

sometimes i also fed up in this issues when i format my pc then after 10-15 days of time spend the problem solved

Mate i think your laptop is infected by an malware or an trojan just scan your pc with smadav 2014 and see if it'll remove all the viruses and then go for a clean installation of new os.

Names Virus:Win32/Sality.AT
This virus creates that type of problem.
I will suggest you to scan your pc by quick heal total security.

it sure your hard drive is very old
or your laptop is fallen...
get a hard disk check softer and see if bad sector exist. on hdd.
it may be virus/malware also.. but..even after installing new windows..
it hangs./not respond new fresh window..then
do what i said.
