Thoes who are unable to PORT there Reliance Gsm number to other operators because of no network in Reliance sim. Follow this steps.
First decide in which operator you want to port your reliance gsm number.
For example you had chosen Vodafone as your new operator.
Than simply you need to send sms from anyone's Vodafone number.
UPCN 93******67 MUM
(Note) - MUM is a region code which is mumbai.
If you are from another region apart from mumbai , the region code will be different , you can get the region code from google.
If you want to port in Vodafone you have to send that above sms from anyone Vodafone sim to 199
Note - If you want to port in another operator apart from Vodafone , like Airtel, Idea, Videocon, Etc
In this case you need to call to your network operator to get the details how to port your old reliance number into new operator.
The above steps are only for Vodafone.
For different operator apart from Vodafone, the steps may differ. (Which you need to know from your new operator customer care)
Once sms sended, within 24 hours vodafone or any another operator in which you are porting.
That company will contact to Reliance , and will generate porting code and will send you within 24 hours on that number in which porting request has been sended.
Once you receive porting code.
You can visit to your new opeator mini store / gallery and get new sim with same number by verifying your identity such as adhar card, etc.
If you found this post helpful , please share to others also, who are struggling to port from reliance to other operators.
Thanks !
