After several delays and much anticipation, Nokia's budget Windows 8 smartphone, Lumia 620 officially goes on sale on Nokia store for Rs 14,999.

Available in a myriad of color options which includes white, black, cyan, green, magenta and yellow, the third most affordable smartphone from the Nokia stable can be delivered in just 7 working days. The site also provides EMI options for 3 or 6 months for consumers.

The dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor powered device brings a dual-shot on board that adds a second layer of colored, transparent polycarbonate on top of a base layer to produce secondary color blends and depth effects.

The smartphone is fitted with a 3.8-inch WVGA display and flaunts seamless multi-tasking, streaming and sharing capabilities. The NFC-enabled device also showcases some of the exclusive camera features that transform the creative power of its 5-megapixel main camera and VGA front-facing camera to capture stunning pictures.

Backed by a 1,300-mAh battery life, the devices houses a 512MB RAM, 8GB onboard storage and exclusive apps like Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Transport, Nokia City Lens and Nokia Music.

According to Greg Sullivan, a senior marketing manager at Microsoft, the Windows Phone 8 devices will be upgraded to the next version of the Windows Phone platform, Windows Phone Blue going forward. This means your little wallet friendly delight will never loose its charm.
